Southside Service Changes

Route 2 Hampton Boulevard – Schedule adjustments.

Route 3 Chesapeake Boulevard – Schedule adjustments.

Route 12 Indian River Road – Schedule adjustments.

Route 14 Battlefield Boulevard – Schedule adjustments.

Route 15 Military Highway – Schedule adjustments. Shift trips to improve the connection at Military Circle.

Route 20 Virginia Beach Boulevard – Schedule adjustments. Shift trips to improve the connection at Military Circle. The timepoint will change inbound from Virginia Beach/Newtown to Virginia Beach/Davis.

Route 21 Little Creek Road – The routing change outbound from Wards Corner to Evelyn Butts via Granby Street to Little Creek Road will become permanent.

Route 24 Kempsville Road – Schedule adjustments.

Route 25 Newtown/Princess Anne Road – The alignment before and after 6:00 p.m. will be revised. Service along Newtown Road between Kempsville Road and Center Drive will be discontinued. Before 6:00 p.m., Route 25 will operate from Bangor Avenue to Newtown Road to Kempsville Road to Center Drive. After 6:00 p.m., Route 25 will operate from Newtown Station to Kempsville Road over regular route (no service to Center Drive).

Route 29 Pleasure House Road/Lynnhaven Parkway – Schedule adjustments. Also, First Colonial and Donna will no longer be a timepoint for Route 29. The start time departing Lynnhaven Mall will be adjusted also the connection at Shore Drive and Pleasure House Road will be improved.

Routes 30, 31, & 35 – Seasonal service will begin.

Route 33 General Booth – Service will be restored to Atlantic Avenue/68^th Street. Route 33 will operate every 60 minutes daily.

Route 45 Portsmouth Boulevard – The evening trips will be adjusted on Saturday inbound from Starmount Parkway/Portsmouth Boulevard between 8:45 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Revise routing to Starmount Parkway via Portsmouth Boulevard to Jolliff Road to the new bus stop & layover location on Starmount Parkway.

Route 58 Bainbridge Boulevard – Schedule adjustments. Route 58 will be revised to service Tidewater Community College (Chesapeake campus) first then travel to the bus stop and layover location on Grassfield Parkway near Walmart.

Route 961 Newport News Transit Center / Hampton Transit Center / Downtown Norfolk Transit Center – Schedule adjustments. The first morning trip from Downtown Norfolk Transit Center will service Newport News Shipyard North Gate then service Washington Avenue and Newport News Transit Center.

The afternoon trip from Newport News Shipbuilding North Gate to Evelyn T. Butts will operate from Wards Corner to Granby Street to Little Creek Road to Evelyn T. Butts and no longer provide service along Admiral Taussig Boulevard. Also, Washington Avenue/49 Street will no longer be a timepoint but will continue to serve as a bus stop. Schedule adjustments will also be made.

Route 966 Silverleaf Station / Newport News Transit Center – One morning and one afternoon trip will be eliminated. Schedule adjustments will also be made.

Route 967 Military Hwy Station / Newport News Transit Center – The morning trips will depart South garage and afternoon trips will depart North garage. Two morning trips and three afternoon trips will be eliminated. Schedule adjustments will also be made.

Route 972 TCC Virginia Beach/Newport News Transit Center – One morning and one afternoon trip will be eliminated. Schedule adjustments will also be made.

Route 980 Norfolk/Chesapeake/Suffolk Amazon – Schedule adjustments.

New! Route 981 Norfolk/Virginia Beach Amazon – Route 981 will provide two morning and two afternoon trips daily between Downtown Norfolk Transit Center and the Virginia Beach Amazon facility (ORF4) at 1795 Dam Neck Road with stops at Ballentine Station, Newtown Station and Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach.

Northside Service Changes

Route 101 Kecoughtan Road – Schedule adjustments.

Route 102 Queen Street – Schedule adjustments.

Route 105 Briarfield Road – Schedule adjustments.

Route 107 Denbigh Blvd. Schedule adjustments.

Route 110 Virginia Peninsula Community College – Schedule adjustments.

Route 115 Foxhill – Schedule adjustments. The timepoints at OBFXH (Old Buckroe & Fox Hill), BUSSC (Skyland & Pembroke), MALMR (Mallory & Mercury) will be eliminated in both directions.

• Remaining timepoints clockwise will be HTC, WOAKS (Willow Oaks), MALBU (Mallory & Buckroe), VA Medical Center and HTC
• Remaining timepoints counterclockwise will be HTC, VA Medical Center, MALBU (Mallory & Buckroe), WOAKS (Willow Oaks) and HTC

Route 118 Neil Armstrong Parkway– Schedule adjustments.

Route 403 Buckroe Shopping Center – Route 403 will be eliminated, and Route 405 will be realigned to cover service to Hampton Transit Center.

Route 405 Willow Oaks – Route 405 will be realigned to cover service to Hampton Transit Center due to the elimination of Route 403. The timepoint at Washington Avenue/49^th Street will be eliminated (the location will still serve as a bus stop). Schedule adjustments will also be made.

Route 414 Oakland Industrial Park – The afternoon trip from North Gate to Patrick Henry Mall and J Clyde Morris Boulevard will be eliminated.

Route 415 Denbigh Fringe – Route 415 will be eliminated, and Route 430 will cover service between Denbigh Fringe and Newport News Transit Center with a stop at Newport News Shipyard North Gate.

Route 430 Denbigh Fringe – One morning trip will be eliminated, and Washington Avenue/49^th Street will no longer be a timepoint but will continue to serve as a bus stop. Route 430 will cover service between Denbigh Fringe and Newport News Transit Center with a stop at Newport News Shipyard North Gate. Schedule adjustments will also be made.

Route 921 Newport News Transit Center/Williamsburg – Washington Avenue/49^th Street will no longer be a timepoint but will continue to serve as a bus stop. Schedule adjustments will also be made.

Route 961 Newport News Transit Center / Hampton Transit Center / Downtown Norfolk Transit Center-
Run time and recovery improvements will be made daily. The first morning trip from Downtown Norfolk Transit Center will service Newport News Shipyard North Gate then service Washington Avenue and Newport News Transit Center.

Route 966 Silverleaf Station / Newport News Transit Center – One morning and one afternoon trip will be eliminated. Schedule adjustments will also be made.
