Bus Operators and Mechanics Demonstrate Skills at Transit “Roadeo”

Hampton Roads Transit hosted its annual Bus Operator and Maintenance Roadeo February 16-18. This annual competition gives operators and mechanics an opportunity to demonstrate their skills. Winners in each category move on to represent HRT in the state competition.

Hampton City Council is on the Move with HRT

Hampton, VA – Hampton City Council joined Hampton Roads Transit today for a ride-along on Route 114. The 757 Express route, which runs along Mercury Boulevard, has seen a 35% increase in ridership since 15-minute peak service was launched in 2023.
