Hampton Roads Transit Celebrates Elizabeth River Ferry’s 40th Anniversary

Today, Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Elizabeth River Ferry. More than a hundred people gathered at the North Landing Dock in Portsmouth this afternoon to mark the occasion. The Mayor of Portsmouth, Shannon Glover, Elizabeth River Crossings CEO, Anna Bonet, and Norfolk by Boat owner, David Jordan were among the guest speakers.
