VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Art lovers can ride the VB Wave Trolley this weekend to the longest-running event in Virginia Beach – the 68th annual Boardwalk Art Show presented by the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art.
The trolley returns one last time this season in support of the event, with three routes operating during festival hours:
- Friday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
For seamless travel, purchase trolley tickets ahead of time at https://gohrt.ticketleap.com/vb-moca-boardwalk-art-show-2024/. Ticket options include one-day passes for each of the three days or a three-day pass for unlimited travel on the VB Wave. Mobile tickets are not valid on other Hampton Roads Transit modes.
The passes can be used on the Route 30 trolley along Atlantic Avenue, the Route 31 serving the Virginia Aquarium and campgrounds, and Route 35 connecting the Oceanfront with points along Shore Drive.
