Transit Service to End Early Saturday

On Saturday, January 24, in anticipation of adverse weather conditions, most Hampton Roads Transit services will end early.  Bus service will begin to wind down much earlier than normal.  A customer alert providing the schedule for last bus trips will be distributed this afternoon.

The Base Express will operate in accordance with its regular schedule.

Paratransit and ridesharing services will end at 7:00 PM.

The last ferry trip will depart Waterside Ferry Dock at 7:45 PM.

The last westbound light rail train departs Newtown at 7:20 PM and arrives at Ft Norfolk/EVMC at 7:44 PM.  The last eastbound train departs Ft. Norfolk/EVMC at 7:11 PM and arrives at Newtown Road at 7:37 PM.

Transit center information booths and public access to all administrative facilities (ID card, Lost & Found, etc.) will be closed. The Customer Service Call Center will close at 8:00 PM.

Transit service is subject to change based on storm intensity. Customers should expect delays.
