Hampton Roads Transit procurements are governed by Federal and Commonwealth laws and regulations. Procurements over $50,000 are advertised locally in The Virginian-Pilot and the Daily Press newspapers, and in other regional and national media as appropriate.
For purchases under $50,000, HRT solicits suppliers from our supplier lists. To add your name to our supplier lists, return a completed Vendor Profile Form by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. See the link for Vendor Profile Form below.
Important Notice: HRT is conducting certain solicitations using American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds. The solicitation will identify if ARRA funds are involved. ARRA funded procurements have certain additional requirements, which are explained here.
