Work at Colley Ave. Crossing to Affect Tide Light Rail March 9-11

NORFOLK, Va. — Planned repair work at the Colley Avenue rail crossing will affect Tide Light Rail service between York Street Freemason Station and EVMC-Fort Norfolk Station beginning at 8 p.m. for three nights, March 9-11.

Bus shuttles will provide transportation for customers traveling between the two stations on the western terminus of the network. Buses will be available between 8 p.m. and the last departure from EVMC-Fort Norfolk Station at 11:30 p.m.

Customers arriving at York Street Freemason Station can catch the shuttle at bus stop 5889 at Brambleton Avenue and Yarmouth Street. At EVMC-Fort Norfolk Station, customers should use the bus shelters adjacent to the light rail station at bus stop 5744.

Service from York Street-Freemason to points east remain on regular schedules. Repairs will continue overnight and conclude at 5 a.m. the next day. Morning service will not be affected.
