VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Summer may be over, but the VB Wave trolley has more service remaining this season.
During this weekend’s 50th annual Virginia Beach Neptune Festival, the trolley will operate on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 27-29) in support of expected large crowds.
The Route 30 trolley along Atlantic Avenue will operate about every 15 minutes from 8 a.m.-2 a.m., except on Saturday, when service begins at 2 p.m. due to the Neptune 8K race on Atlantic Avenue and the Neptune Festival Grand Parade.
The Route 31, serving the Virginia Aquarium and campgrounds, will operate about every 20 minutes from 9:30 a.m.-11:10 p.m. on all three days. The Route 35, connecting the Oceanfront with points along Shore Drive, will operate about every 30 minutes as a bus from 8 a.m.-12:30 a.m. Delays are possible due to events along the Oceanfront on Saturday.
