NORFOLK, Va. – If you’re looking for a career on the move, Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) has scheduled career fairs for the remainder of the year.
HRT is hiring for multiple positions, including full-time and part-time bus operator trainees and full-time mechanics.

To learn more about careers in transit, the public is invited to attend one of these upcoming career fairs:
- Friday, Aug. 23, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Norfolk
- Friday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., Norfolk
- Friday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., Norfolk
- Friday, Nov. 15, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Norfolk
- Thursday, Dec. 12, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., Hampton
Norfolk career fairs will be held at 509 E. 18th St., Building 4. Meet in the front lobby. The Hampton career fair will be held at 3400 Victoria Blvd. Meet in the main entrance.
Career fair participants will be able to fill out an application, undergo a brief screening and get an on-the-spot interview to determine if you’re the right fit for HRT. Professional attire is recommended.
