Norfolk, VA – Hampton Roads Transit is relocating its Downtown Portsmouth bus lineup. Beginning Sunday, October 15, 2023, the on-street transfer location at County and Court Streets is being moved to Crawford Street between Columbia and King Streets until further notice.
The relocation of the bus lineup is to allow for the demolition of the County Street Parking garage. The City of Portsmouth announced in August plans to tear down the structure due to safety concerns.
This transfer location serves Routes 41, 43, 45, 47, 50 and 980. It’s HRT’s seventh busiest transfer location, serving more than 800 passengers daily, Monday through Friday.
