HRT Kicks Off Light Rail Safety Campaign

WHAT: Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) will launch its new safety campaign called “See Tracks? Think Trains” for The Tide light rail. HRT was one of only eight transit agencies across the country to be awarded a $20,000 Rail Safety Grant from Operation Lifesaver. Come learn the importance behind this campaign and how it will be implemented. Attendees will also be among the first to see the design of a light rail train fully wrapped in the campaign’s key safety messages.

WHO: HRT, Operation Lifesaver, and the City of Norfolk, along with Delegate Shelly Simonds will speak at this event.
