HRT hosting first Community Resource Fair

NORFOLK, VA – Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) is hosting its first Community Resource Fair on March 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Newport News Transit Center located at 150 35th St, Newport News, VA, 23607. This free event will connect customers to local community agencies.

HRT staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on its services. Additional participants include Hampton-Newport News Community Service Board, Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, American Red Cross, VersAbility Resources, Newport News Human Services, and TRAFFIX Commuter Options.

HRT is planning its next Community Resource Fair for its Southside customers at its Downtown Norfolk Transit Center on April 5th from 10 am to 2 pm. More information regarding partner participants will be provided prior to the event.
