On select days each year, everyone rides Hampton Roads Transit services – for free. These days provide riders with an opportunity to experience transit services without paying a fare.
How It Works
All Hampton Roads Transit services – bus, light rail, ferry, Paratransit, and OnDemand Rideshare – are free for all customers and riders during our select Ride Free Days. It’s our way of saying thank you to our customers and making it easy for everyone to try transit.
