Tide Light Rail Temporary Service Interruption
On November 24 and December 1-3, 2025, Hampton Roads Transit will conduct nightly closures at the Ballentine Light Rail Station for scheduled maintenance. Each night at approximately 9:00 PM through the end of service, the Tide light rail will not operate between Norfolk State University and Newtown stations. Bus shuttles will be provided to ensure transportation for customers traveling to and from the impacted stations.
Also, due to lane closures, the Route 18 will be unable to service the stops adjacent to the Ballentine Light Rail Station.
