NORFOLK, Va. – Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) will end all services early on Wednesday, Feb. 19 due to the forecasted winter storm. HRT also will not operate all day on Thursday, Feb. 20.
Service on Wednesday will end no later than 4 p.m., giving customers the ability to get to work and home before heavy snowfall is expected to engulf the region. A list of last-service times is listed below.
HRT will not operate on Thursday, Feb. 20 due to expected treacherous road conditions.
Suspended service affects all systemwide bus routes, paratransit service, the Tide Light Rail, Elizabeth River Ferry, OnDemand ridesharing and the Base Express at Naval Station Norfolk.
HRT will evaluate conditions to determine schedules for Friday, Feb. 21, with details to be announced on Thursday.

Tide Light Rail
Last departure from Newtown Road westbound is at 3:20 p.m. Last departure from Fort Norfolk/EVMC eastbound is at 3:26 p.m.
Elizabeth River Ferry
Last departures are from North Landing at 3:05 p.m., High Street at 3:30 p.m. and Waterside at 3:45 p.m.
