Virginia Beach 10 Miler & 5K

The City of Virginia Beach is holding the Chartway Virginia Beach 10 Miler and 5K at the oceanfront, August 31-September 1, 2024. The Routes 20, 30, 31, 33, 35, and 960 will be affected.

(Update 11:20 AM 8/31/24) Saturday detour has ended.

Saturday; 5K Race
On Saturday, August 31, starting at 6:00 AM until completion of the race, Atlantic Avenue between 22nd Street and the Rudee Loop, and Pacific Avenue between 22nd Street and 15th Street will be closed. The VB Wave Routes 30, 31, and 35 will detour. Customers needing to board/alight the VB Wave Routes 30 and 31 will need to go to the stop 1250 Pacific & Winston-Salem. The Routes 20, 33, and 960 will also detour until completion of the race.

The VB Wave Route 35 and Routes 20 and 960 will detour until completion of the race.
