Route 104: 30th Street Realignment
On Sunday, June 2, 2024, the City of Newport News will begin construction on a new school in Newsome Park. This will result in a permanent closure of 30th Street between Wickham Avenue and Orcutt Avenue. The route 104 will be realigned, and outbound stops will be removed from the area surrounding the Doris Miller Community Center. Customers needing to board/disembark the route will need to do so at 2407 CHESTNUT & 33RD or at one of the newly added stops.
