VB Wave & Bayfront Shuttle

Hampton Roads Transit’s VB Wave Trolley and Bayfront Shuttle services are an easy way to get around the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Rudee Inlet, and even reach First Landing State Park along the Chesapeake Bay to walk the trails. Hop aboard, kick back, and let us do the driving.

Oceanfront Routes – 2023

ROUTE 30 TROLLEY • ATLANTIC AVENUE TROLLEY

Ride the VB Wave from one end of Atlantic Avenue to the other. Stop along the way at shops, restaurants, museums and more.

ROUTE 31 TROLLEY • AQUARIUM & CAMPGROUND TROLLEY

Ride the VB Wave south to campgrounds and tennis courts, fun parks, and to the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center. Catch the Atlantic Avenue Shuttle for points north. Aquarium and Ocean Breeze serviced during operating hours only.

ROUTE 34 TROLLEY • OCEANFRONT CONNECTOR

Route 34 provides service from Parks Avenue & 19th Street to Atlantic Avenue and 22nd Street via 19th Street, Birdneck Road and Virginia Beach Boulevard. Route 34 will service the Convention Center, Virginia Beach Sports Center, Vibe Creative District and Atlantic Avenue between 17th and 22nd Streets.

ROUTE 35 • BAYFRONT TROLLEY

Route 35 provides service between Atlantic Avenue/3rd Street and Shore Drive/ Pleasure House Road in Virginia Beach. Route 35 services the Oceanfront, First Landing State Park, Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E., Fort Story at Atlantic Avenue & 88th Street, North End beaches, Chesapeake Bay beaches & Bayfront restaurants on Shore Drive.
