May 2023 Service Adjustments

Southside

Route 15 Military Highway – Schedule adjustments.

Route 24 Kempsville Road – Schedule adjustments.

Route 27 Northampton Boulevard – Modify frequency to operate 60-minute service.

Route 33 General Booth Boulevard – Schedule adjustments.

Route 41 Cradock – The 5:56 a.m. trip will be eliminated. The 6:03 p.m. trip departing Victory Crossing traveling to downtown Portsmouth will be modified to depart Victory Crossing at 6:12 p.m.

Route 44 Midtown – Schedule adjustment to improve the connections at High Street and Florida Avenue.

VB Wave

Implement Seasonal Service – Seasonal service on the VB Wave Routes 30, 31, 34 and 35 will run from May 14 until October 1 (End of Neptune Festival).

Route 35 Bayfront – The frequency will be modified to operate every 60-minutes. Route 35 will not provide service to Parks Avenue/19th Street. Service will be streamlined along Pacific Avenue. Route 35 will service the Edgar Cayce A.R.E on 67th St.

Northside

Route 103 Shell Road – Restore 30-minute frequency, Monday through Saturday.

Route 104 Marshall Avenue – Restore 30-minute frequency, Monday through Saturday.

Route 108 Bland Boulevard – Schedule adjustments.

757 Express

Route 112 Jefferson Avenue – Schedule adjustments.

Route 114 Mercury Boulevard – Implement 15-minute service during peak periods Monday through Friday. Improve weekday span of service to 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. and weekend span to 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Route 960 Norfolk/Virginia Beach – An additional bus will be added to improve run time for the summer season.

Route 961 Norfolk/Hampton/Newport News – Restore 30-minute service Monday through Saturday.
