FERRY BOAT DESIGN AND BUILD PROJECT DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) GOAL
This is to inform the public that the Transportation District Commission of Hampton Roads (TDCHR) has recently awarded contract number 14-67383, Ferry Boat Design and Build Project, to Armstrong Marine, Inc. located in Port Angeles, WA. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) project goal of 4% has been established with 4% of the goal being achieved by race conscious measures and 0% of the goal being achieved by race neutral measures. The goal setting methodology was determined in accordance with the guidance provided in 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 26.45(g), via use of the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity’s Unified Certification Program, and similar historical patterns for DBE utilization on ferry boat projects.
TDCHR will accept comments on the goal for 30 days of this notice. Inquiries may be directed to:
